- Aridlife provided cash transfers ( MPCA) to 491 vulnerable households (4000 Beneficiaries) over 4 months at a rate of US $73 per month/cycle during the height of drought and food insecurity from Oct 2022 to January 2023 in Elwak, Garbaharey and Bardere Districts in the villages of Dabarbaale, Octobar and Horbate in Elwak. Libaxlow IDP in Garbaharey and Kulmiye IDP in Bardhere.
We also provided Cash-for-Work (CfW) opportunity to rehabilitate (4) irrigation canals, (3) irrigation troughs, (3) irrigation ditches, (3) culverts providing temporary employment for 660 beneficiaries supporting 4000 beneficiaries in the villages of Hurena, Bula Jadid, Hilshid & Shimbirole west Bardera during Dec 2021- Feb 2022
