- Under the sector, Aridlife trained (30) farmers in appropriate crop protection practices, Provided 30 households input vouchers for mechanized tillage focused on opening new land for cultivation, Provided 30 households input vouchers for farm tools, Provide 30 households input vouchers for improved seed (Both cereals and Fodder), Expanded farmer field school model to reach 60 smallholder farmer households with improved agronomic skills in Bardhere in the villages of Tawakal & Ben la Odey, Tawakal & Labi Oman, Culusow & Labi Oman, Komorsido & Igiro, Shimbirole & Bula Garas.
- We conducted direct distribution of livestock to (20) pastoral households in Komorsido & Igiro (Elwak), livestock cash labeling approach to help agro-pastoral households purchase livestock for 20HH in Owru Dimtu & Owru Dimtu, provided cash vouchers for fodder to (100) vulnerable households during peak drought period and trained and provided incentive for 10 CAHWs for the same villages at $25 USD/month for 2 months.
